The new Timex wearables will feature Pison’s ENG biosensor, which has been miniaturized to fit into consumer devices with the help of semiconductor experts STMicroelectronics. These devices monitor various aspects of neurocognitive health, such as sleep quality, stress levels, anxiety and fatigue, and provide users with actionable insights to improve their overall well-being. In addition, the wearables will be able to detect signs of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and ALS, and assess the impact of head injuries from contact sports. The collaboration between Timex and Pison represents an important step forward in the development of smart wearables focused on brain health and cognitive performance.
