Modern pet parents strive to include their pets in everyday life and on vacation, but still feel guilty about leaving them home alone. This has led PetSmart to launch an exclusive streaming experience for pets called Home for the Pawlidays. Home for the Pawlidays was created to keep dogs and cats entertained while their owners worry about holiday shopping, parties and gatherings. It provides comfort for pets and alleviates the guilt that many pet owners feel. According to PetSmart survey data, “69% of pet parents feel guilty about leaving their pets home alone during the holidays, and nearly half offer entertainment to keep their pets occupied while they are away.”
Home for the Pawlidays videos feature pets in festive outfits hunting for toys, opening presents and enjoying products from PetSmart’s 2024 Merry & Bright collection.
