The V Foundation, Rex and Krista Hughes, and teams from Emergency Technical Decon and Emergent have come together to lead the Turnout for Firefighters Cancer Research Fund. This socially beneficial initiative recognizes that individuals in the firefighter profession are at increased risk of certain types of cancer due to exposure to carcinogens while on the job. This public awareness fundraising campaign aims to raise public awareness of this issue while providing funds for further research that will benefit this community.
100% of donations to the Turnout for Firefighters Cancer Research Fund go to support cancer research in this niche. In addition, the campaign highlights the technological and chemical cleaning solutions offered by Emergency Technical Decon and Emergent as additional tools that can help save lives.
