Tamworth Distilling’s latest creation – House of Tamworth Spruce & Goose – continues the brand’s tradition of creating unconventional spirits, as the expression is essentially a goose-flavoured whisky. This limited edition spirit combines roasted goose from local farms, white spruce tips and plums to deliver a flavor profile reminiscent of a traditional feast. The result is described as rich and layered, with notes reminiscent of evergreen forests, game and tobacco, with a smooth, cocktail-like texture.
A defining feature of the House of Tamworth Spruce & Goose release is its integral commitment to sustainability. Tamworth Distilling has pledged to plant a native white spruce seedling for every bottle of goose flavored whiskey sold. This supports reforestation efforts in New Hampshire and aligns with the distillery’s wilderness-to-glass philosophy.
