In a series of videos he posted about his cantaloupe-sized noggin, Flex explained to his viewers that he had his hair transplant at a clinic in London. He claimed the clinic saw a large number of celebrity footprints.
“To anyone asking, no – I didn’t go to Turkey to get my hair done,” he said. “I had my hair done in Wembley, to be precise. Kenton, Harrow.
He told his viewers in a follow-up video that he wanted more hair on the crown of his head.

“We design what I need, we talk about everything I need,” said the TikToker, who then explained that the hair follicles were taken from the back of his scalp, called the “donor area,” and implanted on top of his head. head.
“My hairline was actually okay, to be honest, it was literally mostly my crown and my donor area,” he added. “If I had advanced my hairline it would have meant they would have had to take more grafts – a graft is made up of two hairs.”
“I have had 4,000 transplants done, so that means 8,000 hairs have been implanted in my head,” he said candidly.

As part of the process, the dancer had to get a buzz cut, which he found exciting because it gave him the chance to see himself bald for the first time.
After several rounds of anesthesia at different points on his head, he said he felt his head swell.
“I just felt my head swelling up, like a balloon. After a while I didn’t feel it anymore,” he said.

What followed was a four-hour hair transplant procedure and even more swelling, which could have spread to his face and eyes had he not been wearing a headband.
Although Flex admitted that he “looked crazy,” he told his viewers that he would get the look he wanted in a few months.
“Trust the process. I know I look crazy, but trust the process… But right now I look like an alien,” he said in a video.

In another follow-up video, Flex was captured nearly collapsing from swelling seeping into his eye.
“The swelling is moving towards my eye. What’s going on? Guys, I need help.
It felt like I had gone ten rounds with Mike Tyson. I need a tighter headband. What’s going on?”
Several people assured him it was normal, with one saying: “I’ve had the same problem. Nothing to worry about. The swelling will travel further down. It’ll be in a few days.”
“Normally bro, it’s like any kind of surgery/incision that they all swell up first. Then the swelling does not just disappear, but has to fight its way back. Massage would be good, but I don’t know if you’re allowed to do that,” said another.
“Call your doctor, brother,” said another simply.
The TikToker was ultimately able to share some good news about the swelling decreasing over time

Give me five months and my hair will be brand new. Trust the process. Stay tuned to my TikToks as I will be documenting my journey,” he added.

When considering cosmetic procedures such as hair transplants, it is imperative to have proper discussions with medical professionals before making any decisions.
“Hair transplantation is performed through two methods: FUE and FUT,” said Dr. Ilker Apaydin, a leading plastic surgeon in Turkey and Europe, during an interview with Beauty by Experts Medical.
“Each of them has its own pros and cons. With FUT technology, a donor skin flap with sufficient follicles is taken from the back of the patient’s head, which we then transplant into the desired area. This is the earliest technique by which all transplants were performed before,” he explained.
“The FUE method consists in extracting the hair follicles individually one by one using a special tool – a punch,” the doctor added.
