Strengthening Nonprofits: Community for People with Disabilities

Nonprofit organization NTI supports the disability community by providing accessible job opportunities, training and partnerships. Known for pioneering a virtual call center for the U.S. government, NTI focuses on helping people with disabilities find work from home and removing the employment barriers many face.

The organization’s recent efforts emphasize not only job placement, but also empowering individuals to advocate for their needs and educating the broader society on issues related to disabilities. NTI offers a variety of resources through its online platform, NTI University, and continues to enhance its offerings to better serve the disability community. The organization’s newly designed website prioritizes accessibility and ensures ease of use for all visitors.

Alan Hubbard, COO of NTI, shared: “We remain as committed as ever to working with employers interested in bringing rewarding virtual jobs to the disability community. That will always be the main focus of our organization. However, we also recognize that work needs to be done to empower the disability community to advocate for their needs and educate society about the issues faced by people with disabilities. In the future, you’ll see more of how we teach others how to be an ally to the disability community.
